Antalya’s tourism performance reached a five-year high in 2025, driven by strong visitor arrivals in October following a largely steady trend earlier in the year.
According to official data, the number of foreign visitors to Antalya rose 7% year-on-year in October to reach 2.15 million, signaling renewed momentum in the final quarter.
Germany and Russia lead october arrivals
In October, Germany topped the list with 631,000 visitors—a 7% increase from last year—followed by Russia with 571,000 visitors (+11%), the United Kingdom with 177,000 (–3%), Poland with 140,000 (+6%), the Netherlands with 59,000 (–4%), and Lithuania with 46,000 (+16%).
Together, Russia, Germany, the UK, and Poland accounted for 69.5% of Antalya’s total visitors in October.
Nearly 16 million visitors in ten months
Between January and October 2025, Antalya hosted 15.92 million foreign visitors, up 1% compared with the same period last year.
Russia remained Antalya’s largest source market, sending 3.82 million visitors (+3%), followed by Germany (3.32 million; +1%), the UK (1.45 million; –1%), Poland (1.25 million; +1%), and the Netherlands (418,000; –4%).
These four main markets—Russia, Germany, the UK, and Poland—together accounted for 61.85%, or nearly 10 million visitors, of Antalya’s total arrivals during the ten-month period.
Strongest performance since 2019
With these results, Antalya achieved its highest visitor numbers in the past five years, surpassing pre-pandemic levels. The city continues to strengthen its position as one of the Mediterranean’s leading tourism hubs, supported by strong air connectivity, a diversified accommodation base, and sustained demand from European and CIS markets.
