UK leisure carrier and tour operator Jet2 and Jet2 Holidays have announced capacity cuts for Türkiye in the 2026 season.
After struggling to stimulate demand in 2025, prospects for Türkiye in 2026 also look weak. Rising costs and a weak exchange rate have pushed holiday prices higher, prompting Jet2 to trim flights, particularly to Dalaman and Bodrum.
Planned frequency reductions for 2026
• Izmir–Glasgow: from 2 to 1 weekly
• Bodrum–Edinburgh: from 2 to 1 weekly
• Bodrum–Stansted: from 4 to 3 weekly
• Dalaman–Belfast: from 4 to 3 weekly
• Dalaman–Bournemouth: from 2 to 1 weekly
• Dalaman–Bristol: from 7 to 6 weekly
• Dalaman–Edinburgh: from 5 to 4 weekly
• Dalaman–Glasgow: from 7 to 6 weekly
• Antalya–Glasgow: from 6 to 5 weekly
In total, Jet2 will cut nine weekly frequencies to Türkiye next summer, Turizm Ekonomi reports.
Condor has suspended its flights to Türkiye
The move comes shortly after German leisure airline Condor Airlines announced it will remove Türkiye from its 2026 summer program. Condor stated that its network planning “is determined within the framework of economic sustainability” and that “given current conditions, no Antalya flights are scheduled for summer 2026.”
For summer 2025, Condor continues to operate daily Antalya services from Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf and Leipzig, with Frankfurt and Munich flights running until early November and Düsseldorf and Leipzig until late October.
